  • What to bring?
  • Tubing and Rafting

    Footwear (they will get wet), swimwear, sunscreen, and a towel.

    Treetop Adventure

    Closed toed shoes, Hair ties, appropriate tight fit clothing

     

  • Is there a guide on very trip?
  • Yes, we provide at least one guide on every trip.

  • Can we bring drinks or pack a cooler for our trip?
  • Yes, we even rent inflatable coolers and cooler carriers! Note: Glass is not permitted on our trips.

  • How far from Lake George are you?
  • About 7 miles, 5-10 minutes.

  • What is your physical address?

  • How long is the bus ride?
  • About 10 minutes to the river and five minutes back.

  • Do you provide life jackets?
  • Yes, we provide life jackets for everyone.

  • How deep is the water?
  • On average, the water is between 2 – 4 feet deep.

  • Do you have vending machines or food available?
  • Yes, we have snacks and drinks located at our base and there is a great sub shop located next door!

  • Is there an age limit for tubers?
  • No, people of all ages can enjoy our trips. Children two and under go for free!!!

  • Is there a weight limit on tubing?
  • No, there is no weight limit on tubing.

  • Do your Adirondack river tubing trips go out rain or shine?
  • Yes, our trips go out rain or shine. You’re going to get wet anyway!

ADK Treetop Adventure

  • Do I need prior experience to do this?
  • No Experience is necessary. Each participant takes part in a ground school training program where they learn to use the equipment. Also, guides will be present along the course to assist you if necessary.

  • Do I need to be physically fit?
  • No, the park was designed for the average person with average ability. There are 3 different courses that get progressively more difficult. Each person will start on the easiest course and work their way up to the most challenging elements. There are numerous spots where guests can disembark from the course and everyone is able to move at their own pace.

  • Are there height, weight or age restrictions?
  • Yes, participants must weigh between 50 lbs and 250 lbs.

    Participants must be able to fit into our full body harnesses:

    · Waist: up to 47″

    · Upper Thigh: up to 28″

    Full Torso: up to 42″ (measured from front waist, over shoulder, to back waist)

    MINORS AGES 6-9

    · Minors must be a minimum of 48″ tall and be at least 6 years of age..

    · We require one adult per 3 children under the age of 12

    MINORS AGES 10-11

    · Minors ages 10-11 must be a minimum of 54″ to progress to the advanced courses

    · We require one adult per 3 children under the age of 12

    · Ages 10-11 are also child specific as some children in this age group may not be able to do the advanced courses even with adult help due to their personal ability (subject to manager’s discretion)

  • Can I do the course if I’m pregnant, or have a pre-existing medical condition?
  • We are not medical professionals, so we suggest that any pregnant participants, or participants with pre-existing medical conditions, seek their doctor’s advice before booking.

  • Do I need to make reservations?
  • It is not mandatory to make reservations but highly recommended as we do sell out. We have a simple to use online reservation system available for your online booking.

  • Do I have to fill out a waiver?
  • Yes, everyone participating in either the challenge course or zip line activities must complete a waiver. Anyone under the age of 18 must have their waiver forms completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian. Waivers can be filled out online in advance of the activity or at our base location.

  • Do you accept credit cards?
  • Yes, we accept all major credit cards as well as cash sales.

  • How long will we have on the course?
  • A Treetop Adventure Pass is good for 2 hours. You can do as many courses as you can accomplish within the 2 hours for the Treetop Pass and also have unlimited access to both the Quickjump XL and High Speed Zipline for that same time period.

  • What should I wear?
  • Appropriate attire and footwear is required. Shorts are allowed; however pants are suggested. This is an outdoor adventure associated with trees; clothes may get dirty.

    · Sneakers or flexible hiking/walking shoes are recommended.

    · No open-toed shoes, flip-flops, sandals or Crocs allowed.

    · Please wear clothing that is not baggy or hangs loose because it could get tangled in cables.

    · Long hair must be tied back and we recommend no hanging jewelry.

  • How safe is it and is it inspected?
  • Adirondack Treetop Adventures was designed and built to the strictest standards of ACCT (Association for Challenge Course Technology) specifications and meets all safety standards as required by New York State. The course uses American and European-made gear using 100% attachment applications and is routinely inspected internally and by 3rd parties.

    As with all recreational and sport activities there is always inherent risk but compared to the average everyday sport activities, challenge course activities have significantly lower incident ratios.

  • What about bad weather?
  • The course is open rain or shine unless there is thunder, lightning or high winds present. Once the risk of inclement weather is deemed past guests will be allowed back on the course.

    If the course closes due to weather, guests can receive a RAIN check or pro-rated REFUND depending on how much times is left on the customer’s pass.

  • Is food available at the park?
  • Beverages and light snacks are available for purchase. For large groups, catering is available.
